Description 
Perennial herbaceous creeping plant. Used as a cover crop in rubber plantations and produces good fodder. Recovers well after grazing.
Distribution 
Semitropical. Common in Queensland, Australia, the southern Sudan, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, southern Brazil, Venezuela and Colombia.
