Feedipedia at the Global forum for animal feed and feed regulators
Feedipedia will participate next week in the Global Forum for Animal Feed and Feed Regulators convened by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome. Our team will deliver a presentation on the afternoon of 2 October titled Innovative protein and feed sourcing: an ongoing EU concern and will host a side event during lunch on 3 October entitled Feedipedia: Knowledge for All, Supported by All?
Background of the presentation
The presentation will set out our analysis of innovative protein supply chains and the valorisation of coproducts within the European Union. It will address technical, regulatory and food‑safety considerations and propose avenues to strengthen the availability and quality of data for policymakers, practitioners and regulators.
Side Event
The side event Feedipedia: Knowledge for All, Supported by All? will convene stakeholders during the lunch break on 3 October to discuss sustainability models, partnerships and concrete actions to secure Feedipedia’s maintenance and development. The session will bring together representatives from international organisations, research institutions, regulatory bodies and industry to exchange perspectives and identify collaboration opportunities.
