E-conference on "Role of Agro-Industrial and Forestry By-Products in the Feeding of Dairy Animals in Asia and Other Tropical Regions"

Broadening Horizons N°2, November 2013

FAO-APHCA (Animal Production and Health Commission for Asia and the Pacific) and AGA (Animal Production and Health Division of FAO) are pleased to announce an E-conference on "Role of Agro-Industrial and Forestry By-Products in the Feeding of Dairy Animals in Asia and Other Tropical Regions" from November 11, 2013 to December 10, 2013. The e-conference will be held under the auspices of Asia Dairy Network and will be moderated by Dr. John Moran, Coordinator, Asia Dairy Network.

A syntheses of the discussion will be compiled and due recognition will be given to the contributors.  The “Synthesis Document” and major contributions to the E-Conference will be published electronically.

Participation in the E-conference will require membership of Asia Dairy Network. To become a member, please send the message ‘Subscribe FAO-DairyAsia-L’ to listserv@listserv.fao.org.  Leave the subject line blank, type ‘Subscribe FAO-DairyAsia-L’ in the first line of message body and send to listserv@listserv.fao.org  (please note that ‘ before Subscribe and ‘ after -L are not required).  Should you have any problem in subscribing, feel free to contact Dr. John Moran at AsiaDairyNetwork@fao.org

Agro-Industrial and Forestry By-Products have a global relevance in the Feeding of Dairy Animals. So researchers, extension workers, farmers’ organizations and groups, donors, policy makers, NGOs, national and International organizations and other stakeholders from all regions: Latin America and Caribbean, Africa, Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia are invited to participate in the E-Conference.
